Data Residency in Europe is here: Keep your Loom content in-region 🌍

For teams with data residency requirements, Loom now supports in-region data storage, starting with Germany as the first available region.

What this means for you:
When you provision a new Loom workspace through Atlassian Admin, you can now choose Germany as your data location. Your user-generated content including videos, transcripts, comments, AI-generated content, and collaboration features will be stored and processed in-region.

How to get started:

  1. Go to Atlassian Administration → Apps → Add app

  2. Select Loom and create a new site

  3. Choose your data region (Germany or United States) during setup

That's it, your workspace is provisioned with content stored in your selected region from day one.
